Job Description
- Developing CNC programs (G-code) using CAD/CAM software.
- Defining toolpaths, speeds, and feed rates for machining operations.
- Simulating toolpaths to verify accuracy and prevent collisions.
- Optimizing machining parameters to reduce cycle time and improve productivity.
- Generating and maintaining documentation for programs, setups, and tooling lists.
- Setting up machines for specific machining tasks, including clamping fixtures and workpiece holding.
- Troubleshooting machine operations and identifying areas for improvement.
- Calibrating machine parameters to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Inspecting parts during and after machining to ensure they meet specifications.
- Implementing quality control measures to prevent defects.
- Troubleshooting quality issues and implementing corrective actions.
