Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant – Requisition -Chembur Location-6 days working Roles & Responsibilities • Coordinate with the Chartered Accountant (CA) for all statutory compliances including GST, Income Tax, TDS, and other regulatory matters. • Ensure timely submission of required documents and data for audits, tax filings, and compliance activities. • Coordinate regarding vendor advance invoices with the concerned person who initiated the advance payment. • Follow up with the sales team for long outstanding receivables and customer payment collections. • Monitor and review bank reconciliation statements on a weekly basis. • Supervise and support junior accounting staff and ensure timely completion of tasks such as: • TDS workings and filings o Salary workings and payroll support o Job work challans and related documentation o Routine accounting entries and reconciliations • Coordinate with the CA for preparation of Balance Sheet schedules and submission of required audit documents. • Maintain proper accounting records, documentation, and filing systems. • Preferred experience in a manufacturing setup. • Qualification: B.Com/M.Com with at least 50% from a recognized college. • We use Zoho Books, which is preferred; however, we can accommodate candidates experienced with similar accounting software. We highly value analytical skills and soft communication. • Experience needed: 7–10 years; maximum salary offered: 53k; age max: 45; preferred candidate from nearby Chembur. • Open to working 6 days a week, and willing to work extended hours if required
