Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day financial transactions, GST compliance, TDS filings, and overall accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Indian taxation and accounting standards.

• 📌 Key Responsibilities📊 Accounting & BookkeepingMaintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally / ERP
• Manage purchase, sales, receipts, and payment entries
• Reconcile bank statements and ledgers
• Maintain cash flow and expense tracking
• 🧾 GST (Goods and Services Tax)Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation)
• Ensure proper GST billing and input credit management
• Handle GST compliance, notices, and audits
• Reconcile GST data with books
• 💰 TDS (Tax Deducted at Source)Deduct and deposit TDS as per applicable sections
• File TDS returns (24Q, 26Q)
• Issue TDS certificates (Form 16/16A)
• Handle TDS reconciliation and compliance
• 📑 Compliance & Statutory WorkEnsure compliance with Income Tax, GST, and other regulations
• Assist in audits (internal & statutory)
• Maintain proper documentation and records
• Coordinate with CA for filings and financial statements
• 📦 Inventory & Billing (Important for Trading/FMCG)Monitor stock records and inventory accounting
• Verify purchase and sales invoices
• Manage billing, e-invoicing, and e-way bills
• 💼 Financial ReportingPrepare monthly MIS reports
• Track profit & loss, expenses, and margins
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting
• 🧠 Skills & RequirementsStrong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax
• Proficiency in Tally, Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
• Good understanding of accounting principles
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to handle deadlines and compliance timelines
