Job SummaryUM Healthcare is looking for a dedicated and technically skilled Service Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair medical equipment at hospitals, clinics, and healthcare institutions. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused approach.

• Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, commission, and demonstrate medical equipment at customer sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance and breakdown service as per company standards.
• Diagnose technical faults and carry out repairs efficiently.
• Attend service calls within the committed response time.
• Maintain detailed service reports and update customer service records.
• Provide technical support and basic operational training to doctors, nurses, and biomedical engineers.
• Coordinate with the sales team during product demonstrations and installations.
• Manage spare parts inventory and ensure timely replacement of defective components.
• Follow company SOPs and maintain high standards of service quality.
• Travel to customer locations as required.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines while servicing equipment.

• Required QualificationsDiploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field.
• Freshers with strong technical knowledge or candidates with 1–3 years of experience in medical equipment servicing are welcome to apply.
• Required SkillsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of biomedical equipment.
• Ability to read electrical and electronic circuit diagrams.
• Basic knowledge of networking and computer applications.
• Excellent communication and customer-handling skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Preferred QualificationsExperience in servicing ICU, OT, Cardiology, or Laparoscopy equipment.
• Valid driving license.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance documentation and calibration procedures.
