Electrician

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Field Electrician who can assist in installation of electrical poles at project sites and perform end-to-end electrical work, including wiring and fittings. The role involves climbing poles, traveling to multiple sites, and working outdoors under various site conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Install electrical poles and related infrastructure at different project sites
• Safely climb poles for installation, maintenance, and repair work
• Carry out electrical wiring, connections, and fittings as per drawings and instructions
• Install and maintain electrical equipment such as cables, junction boxes, panels, and fixtures
• Inspect electrical systems to identify faults and carry out repairs
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and site safety rules
• Coordinate with site supervisors and other team members
• Travel to various field locations as required by the project
• Maintain tools, equipment, and safety gear in good condition

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of electrical wiring, cabling, and electrical installations
• Experience in field electrical work and pole installation
• Ability and confidence to climb electrical poles and work at heights
• Understanding of electrical safety practices and regulations
• Ability to identify and troubleshoot electrical issues
• Physically fit for outdoor and site-based work
• Basic understanding of civil work
