Role

Strategic Business Partnering (Corporate Functions)

  • Strategic Advisor: Act as the primary financial lead for Corporate Functions (Operations, Quality, HR, etc.), ensuring alignment between departmental goals and the company’s financial framework.

  • Investment Governance: Analyze and evaluate high-impact strategic investment decisions, conducting complex sensitivity analysis to optimize the best-case scenarios for the enterprise.

  • Performance Standards: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvement projects and establish competitive benchmarking tools against peer groups.

  • Control Leadership: Educate and influence user departments regarding finance document requirements and internal control protocols to maintain total financial integrity.

Enterprise Budgeting & Business Planning

  • Annual Planning Leadership: Lead the consolidation and evaluation of the annual business plan across all functions and locations using zero-based budgeting.

  • Forecast Architecture: Accountable for the preparation, presentation, and strategic defense of annual forecasted financials.

  • Adherence Monitoring: Stringently monitor organizational adherence to business plans, providing corrective insights to senior leadership.

Financial Analytics & Management Reporting

  • Advanced Variance Analysis: Evaluate justifications for variances in financial performance and curate dynamic controls to address highlighted observations.

  • Decision-Centric MIS: Oversee the preparation of MIS regarding manpower, productivity, and production-dispatch volumes to facilitate effective executive decision-making.

  • Analytical Excellence: Ensure 100% adherence to monthly reporting deadlines with comprehensive, high-level analytics on organizational performance.

EBITDA Augmentation & Compliance Governance

  • Profitability Projects: Lead projects focused on EBITDA improvement, including contractual negotiations, expense curtailment, and identifying new revenue streams.

  • Regulatory Framework: Establish and maintain a framework ensuring zero tolerance for deviations from legal and regulatory compliances (Income Tax, GST, MSME, etc.).

  • Audit Management: Manage internal and external audit relationships, ensuring the closure of reports within agreed timeframes.

Academic Qualification & Experience

  • CA Qualified

  • 9 to 12 years

 

Technical Skills/Knowledge

  • Financial Modeling: Expert proficiency in advanced financial modeling and multi-scenario sensitivity analysis.

  •  Regulatory Expertise: In-depth knowledge of accounting policies, Companies Act, Direct & Indirect Taxation, and relevant global process trends.

  • Systems: Advanced knowledge of SAP and MS Office Suite
