Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Cook to join our kitchen team and maintain high food quality and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to standard recipes and portion sizes.
- Handle tandoor, curry, Chinese, or snack section efficiently (as applicable).
- Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation are maintained consistently.
- Follow kitchen hygiene and food safety standards at all times.
- Prepare mise en place before service hours for smooth kitchen operations.
- Monitor stock levels and inform management about shortages.
- Store raw materials and cooked food properly to avoid wastage.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations.
- Coordinate with kitchen helpers and delivery staff during rush hours.
- Ensure timely order preparation for dine-in, takeaway, and online orders.
- Minimize food wastage and control portioning.
- Follow instructions from the Head Chef/Kitchen Manager.
- Maintain discipline, punctuality, and teamwork in the kitchen.
