Inventory Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Manager to oversee inventory operations, ensure optimal stock levels, and maintain accurate inventory records. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, monitoring, and controlling inventory to support business operations while minimizing costs and preventing stock shortages or excess inventory.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily inventory operations across warehouses or retail locations.
• Monitor stock levels and maintain optimal inventory to meet business needs.
• Track inventory movement, including receipts, transfers, returns, and dispatches.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical stock audits.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Develop and implement inventory control policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, logistics, production, and sales teams.
• Analyze inventory data and prepare reports on stock levels, turnover, and aging inventory.
• Forecast inventory requirements based on demand and business trends.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage inventory management systems (ERP/WMS) and maintain accurate records.
• Train and supervise inventory staff where applicable.
• Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
