Role

This role is responsible for drafting , negotiating all direct business contracts of the Company such as contracts with suppliers, developers, transportation/logistic service providers, manpower supply agreements, service agreements etc,.

A purpose driven role for you

On the operational side:
(i) Draft, review and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts and transactions executed by the company in relation to its direct business;
(ii) Mitigate any company risks that may come up from any contractual commitments;
(iii) Manage contractual timelines and discussion regarding renewals, amendments and change orders;
(iv) Monitor changes to regulatory requirements and advice compliance
proactively handling regulatory developments;
(v) Serve as a lead counsel on all strategic deals resolving issues that arise in commercial contracts;
(vi) Review business providing legal insights and expertise on the existing and new business propositions;
(vii) Ability to evaluate business cases, identify legal risks and effectively communicate risks to internal stakeholders.
(viii) Providing guidance, advice and/or training to improve business’ understating of applicable laws.
(ix) Well versed with Agreements like, Master Service Agreement, Supply Agreement, Non discloser Agreement, Information technology related Agreements etc.

A Day in the life

Understanding the business and operations of an OEM and ensure the organisation’s interest are protected
Aligning multiple internal and external stakeholders and closing commercial agreements.
Negotiating and closing high stake and critical contracts in limited time

Academic Qualification & Experience

Law graduate. 10-14 Years (varying based on the experience in
the relevant sector). Prior experience of working in a manufacturing industry is a must. Prior experience with an OEM will be an added advantage.

Technical Skills/Knowledge

Breadth of legal expertise – Understating of wide variety of laws.
Ability to identify legal risks and develop effective legal strategies and practical solutions.
