Binder cum Cutter Operator — Book Printing

Onsite (in-house print & binding unit)

10 AM to 8 PM

Salary: Based on experience

Experience required: Minimum 2 years

What is the work?

Operate both our perfect binding machine and paper cutting machine. You will bind printed books and trim them to the correct size, ready for shipping.

Daily tasks:

• Run the perfect binding machine — glue setup, spine prep, cover application

• Run the paper cutter / guillotine for trimming books and sheets

• Check job cards for size, page count, and cover measurements

• Do quality check — spot defects like loose pages, glue bleed, wrong trim size

• Keep daily record of output and wastage

• Machine cleaning, blade change, glue refill, basic maintenance

Who can apply?

2+ years experience on perfect binding machine (Welbound / Namibind / Electro Mec or similar)

Experience on programmable paper cutter / guillotine

Can read measuring tape and job cards

Comfortable with standing work and lifting paper bundles

Punctual, regular, and reliable

Good to have:

• Book printing or POD (print-on-demand) experience

• Lamination or creasing machine knowledge
