Manufacturing Chemist

About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced and technically sound Manufacturing Chemist to join our production team. The candidate will be responsible for handling manufacturing processes, maintaining production standards, and ensuring the quality and consistency of products.

Educational QualificationCandidates with any of the following qualifications are preferred:

• B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry
• B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Animal Nutrition
• B.V.Sc. / M.V.Sc. – Animal Science / Animal Nutrition

Relevant Industry ExperienceCandidates having experience in any of the following industries will be preferred:

• Animal Feed / Feed Supplements
• Veterinary Pharmaceutical Manufacturing
• Nutraceutical Manufacturing
• Pharmaceutical Manufacturing
• Food / Feed-related Products
• Probiotic or Enzyme-based Products
• Key ResponsibilitiesHandle day-to-day manufacturing and production activities.
• Follow standard manufacturing procedures and batch manufacturing processes.
• Ensure proper handling and use of raw materials.
• Monitor production processes to maintain product quality and consistency.
• Maintain batch records, production records, and other required documentation.
• Coordinate with the Quality Control and Quality Assurance teams.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety standards, and manufacturing guidelines.
• Identify and report any production-related issues or deviations.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in the manufacturing area.
• Support continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.
• Required SkillsGood understanding of manufacturing and production processes.
• Knowledge of chemicals, formulations, raw materials, and processing methods.
• Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively with Production, QC, and QA teams.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
