Role

As the Buyer Marketing you will be part of the Procurement function and reporting to SH- Indirect Procurement.
The purpose of your role is:
-Managing Procurement to Payment of Marketing, Media & Events
-Purchasing Area – development of sourcing strategy, Supplier’s Selection, RFQ, query resolution.
-Comparative formation, PO creation, follow up, payment follow up and statuary forms
-Business process re-engineering and IT automation – identification of projects and implementation – examples: vendor rationalization, product standardization, SOP formulation, system generated RFQ/comparative.
-To identify LEAP projects for cost savings
-Team management with sub-ordinates (buyers) – comparative check, PO initiation and work load balancing

A purpose driven role for you

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to-
1. Managing P2P activities of assigned categories
2. Releasing schedules and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely closure of projects
3. Savings & Performance
4. Ensuring Self & Team Development

A Day in the life

You will be working on day-to-day basis on following-
1. Approval of comparatives & Purchase orders
2. Creating Purchase orders
3. Co-ordination with user in case specs are not clear
4. Partner Pool Development
5.Addressing day to day issues regarding closures & delivery
6. Ensure driving LEAP Savings from the consolidated list of ideas / projects through the year

Academic Qualification & Experience

1. Graduate & MBA (preferred) with core specialization in Marketing, Events Management
2. 6 to 10 Years of experience in Marketing
3. Know-how of the Marketing Terminology, Event Management & Execution
4.Agency Coordination & Commercial Closure for Annual Contracts
5.Expertise in Media Buying & Planning
6.Relevant knowledge of Market Research & BTL activations

Technical Skills/Knowledge

1. Worked in Marketing, Negotiation & Communications Skills
2. MS Excel and MS Office
3. SAP MM Module transactions
4. Financial Acumen
5. Knowledge of contracts
