Role Overview
We are looking for a highly driven and result-oriented Marketing Manager who can take ownership of expanding our brand across India. This is not a desk job — this role demands execution on ground, building markets from scratch, hiring and leading a team, and delivering measurable sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Expansion
- Identify and develop new markets across different states
- Appoint distributors, stockists, and key retail partners
- Establish strong on-ground presence for the brand
- Team Building & Leadership
- Hire, train, and manage a high-performance marketing & sales team
- Set clear targets and ensure accountability across the team
- Build a culture of ownership and aggressive growth
- Sales & Target Achievement
- Drive primary and secondary sales
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets
- Monitor performance and take corrective actions immediately
- Strategy & Execution
- Plan and execute state-wise go-to-market strategies
- Analyze local preferences and adapt product positioning accordingly
- Ensure strong brand visibility and recall in each region
- Distributor & Retail Network
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and retailers
- Ensure proper supply chain flow and stock availability
- Resolve market issues quickly and effectively
- Reporting & Accountability
- Track sales data, team performance, and market feedback
- Provide regular reports directly to management
- Work with clear KPIs and measurable outcomes
Requirements
- Proven experience in FMCG / Food Industry (preferred sweets, snacks, or packaged foods)
- Strong experience in building markets and distribution networks
- Ability to hire and manage teams independently
- Highly target-driven with a “results-first” mindset
- Willingness to travel extensively across India
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Leadership mindset — not just a manager, but a builder
