Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the service department operations.
• Handle installation, preventive maintenance, and breakdown service of laboratory and blood bank equipment.
• Coordinate with hospitals, diagnostic centres, and clients for service scheduling and support.
• Lead and supervise service engineers and technical staff.
• Ensure timely resolution of customer complaints and technical issues.
• Maintain service records, AMC/CMC contracts, and documentation.
• Coordinate with sales and technical teams for seamless customer support.
• Provide technical guidance and training to junior engineers when required.
• Monitor spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement requirements.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Travel for onsite service visits and client support when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Electrical, or related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in servicing medical, laboratory, or blood bank equipment.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in team handling and service coordination preferred.
• Good communication and customer management skills.
• Knowledge of equipment maintenance protocols and documentation.
• Willingness to travel for service assignments.
