Job Description
Role Objective
Assist in the preparation and cooking of North Indian dishes while maintaining consistency, hygiene, and kitchen efficiency.
- Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare mise en place for North Indian section (gravies, marinades, basic curries, tandoor prep).
- Cook dishes as per standard recipes and portion control guidelines.
- Assist Chef de Partie in daily kitchen operations.
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality.
- Maintain hygiene standards as per FSSAI guidelines.
- Handle basic tandoor operations (if trained) – breads, kebabs, starters.
- Monitor stock levels and inform seniors for replenishment.
- Minimize wastage; follow FIFO and proper storage practices.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstation and kitchen equipment.
