ORDER DISPATCHER

*RESPONSIBILITIES OF ORDER DISPATCHER* 

*1. Order Handling*

- *Receive & Confirm*: Check all incoming orders from app/call/counter

- *Verify Details*: Order items, guest name, address, contact number, special instructions

- *Assign Order ID* and update in system

### *2. Kitchen Coordination*

- *Pass order to kitchen* on time with all details

- *Track preparation time* and follow up for delays

- *Do quality check* before dispatch - packing, items, bill

### *3. Rider Management & Dispatch*

- *Assign rider* based on location and availability

- *Share delivery details* with rider: address, landmark, contact

- *Track rider status*: picked, out for delivery, delivered

- *Handle rerouting* in case of weather, traffic, waterlogging

### *4. Guest Communication*

- *Update guest* if there’s any delay

- *Coordinate during delivery* - if rider can’t connect with guest

- *Take feedback* and handle complaints calmly

### *5. Reporting & Accountability*

- *Update system* at every stage: accepted, preparing, dispatched, delivered

- *Report issues* to Sir/Manager: rider delays, guest no-response, cancellations

- *Ensure no missed orders* and 100% order accuracy

- *Take ownership* - ensure promises are fulfilled even in odd conditions

### *Key Qualities Needed*

1. *Speed + Accuracy* - No wrong orders

2. *Problem Solving* - Find alternate routes/solutions during rain/traffic

3. *Communication* - Clear updates to Sir, Rider, and Guest

4. *Responsibility* - Follow till order is delivered
