Job Title: Procurement Executive

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Executive to manage the purchasing of materials, equipment, and services required for construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for vendor management, cost control, timely procurement, and ensuring quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and finalize vendors

Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (PO) as per project requirements

Source construction materials such as cement, steel, sand, and other items

Compare quotations and ensure procurement at the best possible price

Coordinate with project/site teams for material requirements and delivery schedules

Ensure timely delivery of materials to avoid project delays

Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and vendor details

Verify invoices and coordinate with the accounts team for payments

Monitor inventory levels and avoid shortages or overstocking

Ensure quality standards of purchased materials are met

Required Skills:

Strong negotiation and communication skills

Knowledge of construction materials and procurement processes

Good analytical and cost management skills

Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP software (preferred)

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Supply Chain Management, or related field

1–3 years of experience in procurement (preferably in construction industry)

Preferred Requirements:

Experience in vendor management and contract negotiation

Familiarity with local market suppliers and pricing
