Production Tailor

Position Overview

Ash & Eve Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a skilled and experienced Tailor / Silai Karigar for our Kidswear production unit. The candidate should have hands-on experience in stitching children’s garments with good finishing, speed, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Stitch kidswear garments such as dresses, tops, frocks, co-ord sets, shirts, pants, shorts, skirts, rompers, etc.
• Operate industrial sewing machines such as Single Needle, Overlock, Flatlock, Button Machine (if required).
• Understand cutting marks, patterns, measurements, and garment construction.
• Maintain neat finishing, clean stitching, and proper fitting as per sample/design.
• Handle fabrics carefully, especially delicate fabrics, cotton, knits, tweed, fancy fabrics, etc.
• Perform alterations, corrections, and sample stitching when required.
• Ensure daily production targets are met with quality standards.
• Maintain machine cleanliness and basic upkeep.
• Coordinate with masterji, checker, and production supervisor.

Required Skills

• Experience in Kidswear stitching preferred.
• Knowledge of garment measurements and finishing.
• Ability to stitch different styles and fabrics.
• Fast working speed with minimum rejection.
• Attention to detail and quality consciousness.
• Team player with discipline and punctuality.

Experience Required

• Minimum 2 years experience in garment stitching.
• Candidates with kidswear factory experience preferred.
