Job Description (JD) – POSM & Merchandising Executive / Manager

Position Summary

The POSM & Merchandising Executive/Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, and monitoring Point of Sale Material (POSM), merchandising, and retail branding projects for retail outlets, dealer networks, and branding campaigns. The role involves vendor coordination, purchase coordination, production follow-up, installation management, quality control, and timely execution of branding activities across locations.

Key Responsibilities

POSM, Merchandising & Execution

Manage end-to-end execution of POSM, merchandising, and retail branding projects.

Coordinate design, production, dispatch, and installation of branding materials.

Ensure timely deployment of POSM across retail outlets, dealers, and distributors.

Ensure proper visual merchandising and branding visibility at retail locations.

Vendor & Purchase Management

Coordinate with fabricators, printers, signage vendors, suppliers, and installation teams.

Develop and maintain vendor networks across regions.

Negotiate pricing, timelines, purchase terms, and quality standards with vendors.

Handle purchase coordination for raw materials, signage items, branding materials, fixtures, acrylics, LED signage, etc.

Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with company standards.

Follow up on production schedules for signage, fixtures, acrylics, glow signs, and branding elements.

Client / Internal Coordination

Coordinate with sales, marketing, client servicing, purchase, and design teams.

Understand client branding and merchandising requirements and ensure accurate execution.

Provide project status updates and execution reports.

Quality Control

Ensure branding materials meet design specifications and quality standards.

Ensure consistency in branding and merchandising across all locations.

Inventory & Logistics

Track POSM inventory, dispatches, and stock movement.

Coordinate logistics for movement of branding materials across cities/states.

Reporting & Documentation

Prepare project trackers, MIS reports, vendor records, purchase records, and cost sheets.

Monitor project budgets, purchases, and expenses.

Required Skills

Knowledge of retail branding, merchandising, and signage materials

Understanding of POSM production and fabrication processes

Knowledge of purchase coordination and vendor handling

Vendor management and negotiation skills

Knowledge of printing, fabrication, acrylics, LED signage, fixtures, etc.

Good communication and coordination skills
