About the Role

Swtantra Retail Private Limited is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Supervisor (Final QC) to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting final quality inspections of garments before dispatch, ensuring that all products meet company quality standards, measurement specifications, finishing requirements, and packing guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Perform final quality inspection of finished garments before packing and shipment.

Conduct thorough checks for stitching, measurements, workmanship, fabric defects, trims, labeling, and overall garment appearance.

Verify garment measurements against approved size specifications and measurement charts.

Ensure garments meet finishing standards, including pressing, thread trimming, stain-free appearance, and presentation quality.

Inspect packing quality, tagging, barcoding, folding, and packaging as per company requirements.

Identify and report quality issues, defects, and non-conformities to the production team.

Coordinate with production and finishing departments to ensure timely correction of defects.

Maintain quality inspection records and prepare QC reports.

Ensure compliance with company quality standards and customer requirements.

Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve product quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 4+ years of experience in garment quality inspection or final quality control.

Good understanding of garment construction, stitching standards, and finishing processes.

Knowledge of measurement verification and garment specification sheets.

Familiarity with packing quality standards and shipment requirements.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Ability to identify defects and suggest corrective actions.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Basic knowledge of quality documentation and reporting.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Experience in apparel manufacturing, export houses, or garment production units.

Ability to work independently and maintain quality standards under production deadlines.
