Job Description

Key Roles & Responsibilities Medication Verification & Dispensing • Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy, legality, and completeness before order processing. • Ensure the correct medication, strength, dosage form, and quantity are picked and dispensed. • Perform final verification of medicines prior to dispatch to customers. Compliance & Regulatory Adherence • Ensure all pharmacy operations comply with the Drugs & Cosmetics Act, Pharmacy Act, and other applicable regulations. • Maintain proper documentation and records as mandated by statutory authorities. • Support audits and inspections conducted by internal teams or regulatory bodies. Labeling, Packaging & Storage • Ensure proper labeling of medicines, including batch number, expiry date, and storage instructions. Inventory & Stock Control • Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records, especially for scheduled and controlled drugs. • Monitor near-expiry, expired, damaged, or recalled medicines and ensure timely segregation and disposal as per policy. • Coordinate with warehouse and supply chain teams to minimize discrepancies and stock losses. Preferred Candidate Profile Educational Qualification • Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from a recognized and accredited institution. Mandatory Requirement • Valid registration with the State Pharmacy Council (mandatory and non-negotiable). Experience • Prior experience in warehouse pharmacy, retail pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, or e-pharmacy operations is preferred. • Freshers with strong regulatory knowledge may also be considered. Skills & Competencies • Strong knowledge of medicines, dosage forms, and pharmaceutical regulations. • High attention to detail and accuracy. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, operational environment. • Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with inventory or pharmacy management systems. • Good communication and coordination skills.
