Job SummaryWe are looking for a technically strong and highly motivated Sales Engineer who can identify industrial customers, understand their electrical requirements, recommend the right solution, and convert opportunities into long-term business relationships.
This role combines engineering knowledge with business development. The ideal candidate should be comfortable meeting factory owners, electrical consultants, EPC contractors, OEMs, panel builders, and government organizations.
- Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness DevelopmentIdentify new customers in industrial and commercial sectors.
- Generate leads through field visits, networking, references, exhibitions, and digital platforms.
- Build relationships with OEMs, EPC contractors, consultants, industries, and government departments.
- Develop dealer and distributor networks in assigned territories.
- Technical SalesUnderstand customer electrical load and application requirements.
- Recommend suitable Servo Voltage Stabilizers, Transformers, UPS Systems, or customized power solutions.
- Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations.
- Coordinate with the engineering team for technical discussions and special requirements.
- Sales ProcessPrepare quotations and techno-commercial proposals.
- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms.
- Follow up on enquiries until order closure.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline using CRM or Excel.
- Customer Relationship ManagementMaintain strong relationships with existing customers.
- Conduct regular customer visits.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with the service team for after-sales support.
- Market IntelligenceMonitor competitor activities and pricing.
- Identify new market opportunities.
- Share customer feedback with management for product improvement.
- ReportingSubmit Daily Call Reports (DCR).
- Maintain visit reports and sales forecasts.
- Update enquiry status, quotations, and order progress.
- EligibilityB.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
- 1-5 years of experience in B2B industrial sales.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills may also apply.
