Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd is seeking a Sales Manager for its Business Banking division. The role involves leading a team, driving sales, and managing relationships with clients to achieve business goals.

 

As a Sales Manager in our Business Banking division, you will play a crucial role in driving the bank's sales strategy and expanding our client base. You will lead a team of sales professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure effective sales performance. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing sales plans, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with existing and potential clients. The role requires excellent leadership and communication skills, a results-driven mindset, and a deep understanding of the banking industry and sales processes.

 

• Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, providing guidance and performance feedback.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business targets and expand the client base.
• Identify new business opportunities and prospects through market research and networking.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
• Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform sales strategies.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless client onboarding and account management.
• Analyze sales performance data and provide regular reports to senior management.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance the sales team's skills and knowledge.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies and regulations in all sales activities.
• Represent the bank at industry events and conferences to promote our business banking services.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a sales management role, preferably in the banking industry.
• Proven track record of successful sales leadership and team management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using sales performance metrics.
• Knowledge of banking products and services, especially in the business banking domain.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in MS Office and sales management software.
• Willingness to travel for business purposes and attend industry events.
• Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
