About us
We are a product-based wholesale business with 4 years of operations, dealing in quality merchandise across buyer segments. Our business runs on strong B2B relationships and we are looking for a driven sales leader who can own and grow our wholesale pipeline — someone who is equally comfortable closing deals and building long-term buyer accounts.
Role overview
This is a dual role — you will lead our B2B sales strategy as a manager while also being the most senior, hands-on salesperson in the team. You are expected to generate leads, close bulk orders, nurture key accounts, and set the standard for how sales is done in this company.
What you will do
- Actively generate and qualify B2B leads through IndiaMart, cold outreach, trade networks, and referrals
- Own the full sales cycle — from first contact and product presentation to negotiation, closure, and repeat orders
- Manage and grow relationships with existing wholesale buyers — retailers, distributors, and bulk purchasers
- Handle IndiaMart account — respond to buyer enquiries, maintain catalogue, and convert leads promptly
- Negotiate pricing, MOQs, payment terms, and advance collections in line with company policy
- Maintain a structured buyer pipeline and report on leads, follow-ups, conversions, and revenue weekly
- Coordinate with internal teams on order processing, dispatch timelines, and after-sales support
- Over time, hire, train, and mentor a junior sales team and set processes for the sales function
Must have
- Minimum 3 years of B2B / wholesale sales experience with a proven record of hitting targets
- Hands-on experience working with IndiaMart — managing leads, buyer queries, and catalogue
- Strong negotiation skills — comfortable discussing pricing, bulk discounts, advance payment, and MOQs
- Excellent communication in Hindi and English — confident on calls, WhatsApp, and in-person meeting
- Highly self-motivated — can generate leads independently without waiting for inbound enquiries
- Organised and process-oriented — maintains a clean pipeline, follows up consistently, and closes on tim
