Job Description
Designation- Senior Process Associate (Entry)
Sales Contractual Designations- Junior Accountant/ Experienced Junior Accountant/Property Accountant
Relevant Experience -2 - 4 years
Min Qualification- B. Com (P)/ (H)
Accounts Payable- Most AP process can be assigned including AP manager role
Accounts Receivables -Most AR process can be assigned. AR process with email based collection can be assigned only if written communication is good enough
Reconciliations (Bank & CC) -Can be assigned
Month End Closing & Financials -Yes, Simple Month-End procedures with limited/no accruals. Cash based Month End Closing can also be assigned. Complicated month end procedures requiring good balance sheet knowledge cannot be assigned. Similarly, processes requiring detailed variance comments cannot be assigned.
Job includes:-
· Accounts Payable Processing including matching POs with invoices, multi-item invoice entry, entry of checks and electronic transfers and other AP work
· Accounts Receivable Processing- applying customer payments against open invoices, entering receipts, and invoicing (if required)
· Revert to/Follow-up with client staff/external parties regarding AP and AR queries
· Bank, credit card and loan reconciliations
· Perform all balance sheet reconciliations including bank and loan reconciliations
· Preparation of journal entries related to month-end closing such as accrual (provision) entries, prepaid, expense reclassification, loan entries etc.
· Preparation of month end schedules and simple reports
Skill Set Required:
· Good Accounting conceptual knowledge- should be familiar with accrual accounting
concepts such as month-end expense provisions, revenue-expense matching (MUST)
· Ability to understand and read general ledger including making journal entries
· Working knowledge of Balance Sheet
· Good in doing accurate processing in entry of invoices, receipts, deposits etc. over a medium to heavy load setting (>=50+ transactions per day)
· Skilled in MS Excel, Outlook and Word including VLookup and formatting tools
· Should have prior good emailing experience as part of regular work routine
Nice to have skill set:
· Good Spoken Communication Skills
· Ability to work independently (should have past experience to validate this)
· M.Com or CA(Inter) preferred
