Service Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer (Part-Time) to support the repair, servicing, and maintenance of professional audio and electronic equipment. The role primarily involves PA (Public Address) system products including microphones, mixers, amplifiers, and speakers.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and hardware-related issues in PA and audio equipment.
• Repair and service microphones, audio mixers, power amplifiers, speakers, and related electronic products.
• Perform product inspection, testing, calibration, and preventive maintenance.
• Assist in assembly/disassembly of electronic equipment and mechanical components.
• Identify faulty parts and coordinate replacement or repair.
• Maintain service records, repair reports, and inventory of spare parts.
• Support troubleshooting alongside electronics technicians when required.
• Ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards.
• Required Skills & QualificationsDiploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Basic understanding of electronics and audio equipment.
• Experience working with PA systems, speakers, amplifiers, or electronic devices preferred.
• Hands-on skills with repair tools, testing equipment, and servicing techniques.
• Ability to read technical diagrams/manuals.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently on part-time assignments.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in servicing professional audio equipment or consumer electronics.
• Familiarity with soldering, wiring, cooling systems, chassis/mechanical fitting, and assembly work.
• Knowledge of amplifier cabinets, speaker enclosures, and audio hardware components.
