Warehouse Supervisor

Role OverviewWe are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Warehouse Manager / Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure smooth order fulfillment. The role involves managing pickers and packers, maintaining workflow efficiency, and ensuring timely dispatch of purchase orders (POs) while maintaining high standards of accuracy and organization.

Key Responsibilities1. Team Management

• Supervise and manage a team of pickers, packers, and warehouse staff.
• Assign daily picking and packing tasks based on dispatch schedules and priorities.
• Monitor team productivity and ensure staff meet operational targets.
• Train and guide staff on warehouse processes, accuracy, and safety procedures.
• Maintain discipline, attendance tracking, and shift coordination.

2. Dispatch & Order Fulfillment

• Ensure timely picking, packing, and dispatch of all POs according to platform deadlines (Blinkit, Zepto, etc.).
• Coordinate closely with operations and logistics teams to meet dispatch timelines.
• Ensure order accuracy and minimize errors in SKU selection and packing.

3. Workflow & Process Management

• Plan and manage daily warehouse workflow to ensure efficient movement of goods.
• Optimize picking routes and packing processes to improve speed and accuracy.
• Monitor bottlenecks and resolve operational issues quickly.

4. Inventory Coordination

• Ensure correct picking based on SKU codes and batch requirements.
• Coordinate with inventory team for stock availability and replenishment.
• Report discrepancies or operational issues impacting dispatch timelines.

5. Quality & Compliance

• Maintain clean, organized warehouse operations.
• Ensure proper packing standards and damage-free dispatch.
• Follow safety protocols and warehouse best practices.

6. Reporting & Coordination

• Track daily dispatch numbers and operational performance.
• Report delays, issues, or manpower shortages to management.
• Work closely with operations, inventory, and logistics teams.
• Key Skills & Requirements3–6 years experience in warehouse operations or logistics supervision.
• Experience managing warehouse teams (pickers, packers, loaders).
• Strong ability to manage timelines and dispatch deadlines.
• Good understanding of inventory handling and SKU-based picking systems.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dispatch environment.
• Preferred ExperienceExperience in FMCG / e-commerce / quick commerce warehouse operations.
• Familiarity with WMS or inventory management systems is a plus.
