Bakery Chef

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of products including breads, cakes, pastries, cookies, and desserts
• Follow standard recipes and ensure consistency in taste and presentation
• Manage daily production planning based on outlet requirements
• Monitor stock levels of baking ingredients and inform for reorder
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene as per food safety standards
• Ensure proper storage of raw materials and finished products
• Decorate cakes and desserts as per customer requirements
• Train and guide junior bakery staff
• Control wastage and maintain cost efficiency

📦 Inventory & OperationsCheck daily stock of flour, sugar, butter, chocolate, etc.

• Coordinate with purchase/vendor team for timely supply
• Maintain production records and wastage reports

🧾 Skills & Requirements

• Proven experience as a Bakery Chef or similar role
• Knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients
• Ability to work early morning shifts and under pressure
• Creativity in cake decoration and presentation
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
• Team handling and communication skills
• 🎓 Qualifications Diploma or Certification in Bakery & Confectionery (preferred)
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in bakery/kitchen
