Content Writer Intern

A Content Writer Intern is responsible for creating, editing, and publishing engaging content for websites, blogs, and social media platforms to support marketing efforts. This role involves conducting research on assigned topics, ensuring grammatical accuracy, and learning SEO best practices to improve online visibility. 

Job Overview

• Role: Content Writer Intern (Paid/Unpaid/Stipend-based)
• Duration: Typically 3–6 months
• Mode: Work-from-office
• Goal: Build a portfolio and gain hands-on experience in content marketing, SEO, and brand storytelling. 

Key Responsibilities

• Content Creation: Write well-structured, engaging blogs, articles, and social media captions that align with brand voice.
• Research & Discovery: Research industry-related topics to produce original, informative content.
• SEO Optimization: Apply basic SEO techniques (keyword research, meta descriptions) to improve search rankings.
• Editing & Proofreading: Edit and polish content to ensure high quality, zero plagiarism, and grammatical accuracy.
• Content Management: Upload, format, and publish content using Content Management Systems (CMS).
• Social Media Support: Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging posts for platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook. 

Qualifications

• Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Writing Skills: Strong command of English grammar and the ability to adapt writing style.
• Tools: Familiarity with Google Docs, WordPress, and MS Office.
• Mindset: Detail-oriented, creative, and proactive with a strong desire to learn.
• Experience: Previous experience writing for a personal blog or school newspaper is a plus.
