Education Counsellor

We are looking for a dynamic, empathetic, and detail-oriented Study Abroad Counselling Expert to join our growing team. In this role, you will be the face of our organization for prospective students and their parents. You will take ownership of warm leads—students who have already expressed interest in our services—and guide them through the complex journey of choosing the right international academic path.

The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of global education systems, a passion for mentoring young minds, and the consultative sales skills needed to convert interested leads into registered students.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Conversion & Engagement: Connect with warm leads via phone, video calls, and email to understand their academic backgrounds, career aspirations, and financial preferences.
• Country-Specific Expert Guidance: Provide up-to-date information on admission requirements, deadlines, tuition fees, and visa processes across key destinations (e.g., Europe, Asia, UK, North America).
• Parent Relationship Management: Confidently address parents' concerns regarding safety, return on investment (ROI), accommodation, and post-study work opportunities.
• Pipeline Management: Maintain meticulous records of student interactions and application statuses in excel sheet to optimize the conversion funnel.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 1–2 years of proven experience as a Study Abroad Consultant or Overseas Education Counsellor.
• Communication Excellence: Exceptional spoken and written English. The ability to articulate complex processes clearly and build instant rapport with students and parents is critical.
• Consultative Sales Approach: Comfortable working with performance targets; ability to nurture warm leads without being overly aggressive, focusing on value-driven counseling.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to find alternative academic pathways for students with unconventional or challenging academic profiles.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in any field (International Education, Psychology, or Business/Marketing preferred). Studying or living abroad yourself is a massive advantage.
