Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Field Sales Executive to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding our customer base, and managing relationships with farmers, dealers, and agricultural retailers in your assigned territory. You will promote our range of high-quality products, offering expert advice to improve crop yields and farm productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Territory Management: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets within the assigned geographic area.
- Customer Engagement & Relationship Building: Actively visit farmers, dealers, and retailers, building long-term trust and loyalty.
- Product Promotion & Demonstration: Conduct on-field product demonstrations, farmer meetings to showcase the efficiency and benefits of our agricultural products.
- New Business Development: Identify and acquire new customers through field networking, cold calling, and referrals.
- Technical Support & Advice: Provide on-field guidance on product application, crop health, and agricultural techniques.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and customer needs, providing regular feedback to the marketing team.
- Reporting & Administration: Maintain accurate records of field visits, sales, and inventory levels using company formats and reporting tools.
- Payment Collection: Ensure timely collection of payments from customers, distributors and dealers.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Preferred if you have a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Agriculture, Agronomy, Agribusiness, or a related field. Others who dont have this educational qualification can also apply.
- Experience: 1–5 years of experience in field sales, preferably in agri-inputs, seeds, pesticides, or fertilizer industry or any rural or semi urban marketing.
- Technical Knowledge: Preffered if you have deep understanding of local farming techniques, crop management, and agri-input products. Company will also give ample training for those not from this background.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, with fluency in Hindi and Basic English.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Digital Proficiency: Familiarity with Mobile Activity Apps like whats app.
