Job Description
Job Summary:
The F&B Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and managing daily F&B service operations while ensuring smooth coordination between the service and kitchen departments. The role includes maintaining service standards, guest satisfaction, team handling, party coordination, inventory management, and operational coordination to ensure efficient restaurant functioning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily restaurant and F&B service operations.
- Ensure smooth coordination between service staff and kitchen department.
- Monitor food service quality, presentation, and guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest queries, complaints, and special requests professionally.
- Allocate duties and supervise stewards and service staff during shifts.
- Coordinate with the kitchen team for order flow and food preparation timelines.
- Manage coordination and food delivery arrangements during parties, events, and group bookings.
- Ensure proper service execution during banquet, party, and event operations.
- Inventory management and monitor stock availability for operational requirements.
- Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and service standards as per company policies.
- Monitor staff grooming, discipline, and attendance.
- Training new staff on service standards and operational procedures.
- Ensure proper billing coordination and POS handling.
- Maintain proper communication with management regarding operational issues.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and operational SOPs.
- Required Skills:Strong leadership and team handling skills.
- Good communication and guest handling ability.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and service standards.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with kitchen and service teams.
- Knowledge of inventory handling and stock coordination.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in operational environments.
Qualification:
- Graduate or Diploma in Hotel Management / Hospitality preferred.
Experience:
- 2–5 years of experience in F&B service operations.
- Experience in restaurant supervision or Captain role preferred.
