Job Description & Summary: A career within….

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of creating, reviewing, and managing comprehensive Effective License Positions (ELPs) for at least one tier 1 publishers( IBM, Oracle, SAP, MS). 

• Apply end-to-end licensing methodologies to optimize software usage and compliance. 

• Develop and implement licensing strategies based on usage data and compliance requirements. 

• Lead complex license audits and manage relationships with multiple software publishers. 

• Analyze software usage data to recommend cost-saving opportunities. 

• Provide guidance and training to junior team members. 

• Act as a subject matter expert for licensing strategy and compliance issues. 

Skills and Qualifications: 

• Strong expertise in ELP creation of at least one or two tier 1 publishers (IBM, MS, SAP and Oracle) and software license management. 

• Deep understanding of licensing methodologies, contract negotiation fundamentals, and compliance frameworks. 

• Proficiency in one or more SAM tools (Flexera, SAM Pro, SNOW, USU etc.) and software compliance assessment techniques. 

• Experience with benchmarking and best practices in SAM. 

• Good project management and stakeholder communication skills. 

• Ability to produce detailed reports around SAM maturity assessment. 

Experience: 

• 2 to 8 years of progressive experience in Software Asset Management and license compliance. 

Mandatory skill sets:

SAM basic knowledge, SAM basic knowledge with Flexera operations, Flexera implementation, SAP licensing, SAM Pro Operations, SAM tool operations

Preferred skill sets:

SAM basic knowledge, SAM basic knowledge with Flexera operations, Flexera implementation, SAP licensing, SAM Pro Operations, SAM tool operations

Years of experience required:

2 to 10 years

Graduate Engineer or Management Graduate
