ServiceNow IRM Developer / Consultant 

Role OverviewThe ServiceNow IRM professional is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining risk management solutions on the ServiceNow platform. This includes modules like Risk Management, Policy & Compliance, Audit Management, and Vendor Risk Management.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement and configure ServiceNow IRM modules (Risk, Policy & Compliance, Audit, Vendor Risk).Translate business requirements into technical solutions and workflows.Design and customize risk frameworks, control libraries, and policy structures.Configure risk scoring, assessments, and issue management workflows.Develop custom scripts, business rules, UI policies, and integrations.Integrate ServiceNow IRM with external tools (e.g., GRC tools, security tools, third-party systems).Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs for risk visibility.Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and production deployments.Provide technical documentation and training to stakeholders.Ensure alignment with regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, SOX).Required Skills & QualificationsTechnical SkillsStrong experience with ServiceNow platform (2–5+ years typical).Hands-on with IRM / GRC modules:Risk ManagementPolicy & ComplianceAudit ManagementVendor Risk ManagementKnowledge of:JavaScript, Glide API, Flow DesignerREST/SOAP integrationsServiceNow data model and CMDBExperience with workflows, catalog items, and scripting.Functional SkillsUnderstanding of risk management frameworks (COSO, ISO 31000, NIST).Knowledge of compliance and audit processes.Ability to map business risk scenarios into system configurations.Preferred QualificationsServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – IRM (CIS-IRM)ServiceNow CSA (Certified System Administrator)Experience in IT Risk, Cybersecurity, or Governance domainsExposure to Agile/Scrum methodologiesSoft SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsGood communication with technical & non-technical stakeholdersAbility to work in cross-functional teamsAttention to detail and documentation skillsTypical Job TitlesServiceNow IRM DeveloperServiceNow GRC/IRM ConsultantRisk & Compliance Engineer (ServiceNow)ServiceNow IRM Architect (senior level)Optional: Sample Experience Requirement3+ years in ServiceNow development1–2+ years specifically in IRM/GRC implementationsAt least 1 full-cycle IRM implementation project
