Job Description

Role: Java Project Manager
Experience: 12+ years
Location: Noida
Education: B.E./ B.Tech./MCA

Primary Skills : Java, Springboot, Project Management, Agile

Key Responsibility:

1. Manages major and complex assignments, projects and/or operations from offshore, in keeping with the requirements and objectives set
2. Functional or technical expertise and/or expertise in team management
3. Interact with the customer / onshore teams at a high level, assisting them with work delivery and coordination if relevant
4. Manages technical relations with partners when relevant
5. Coordinate team and ensure delivery is on-time, in quality and budget
6. Drive planning, process, and risk management
7. Ensures that inputs from the technical lead are considered by onshore team
8. Provides necessary Reporting and raises alerts
9. Contributes to employee development and internal communication in the entity
10. Is a key player in the pre-sales process, has good command of the customer environment and relationship
11. Technically oversees the work required to create systems and solutions or leads technical expertise
12. Is involved in defining the overall testing strategy for complex projects and oversees the technical integration and testing phases
13. Applies their expertise to resolve complex issues, conducts technical reviews and makes recommendations
14. Is an authority in their areas of expertise, transfers their knowledge with a view to developing and delegating within the team and builds on expertise

 

Key technical and functional skills

1. Expertise in several major technical software or product system environments
2. Industrialisation expertise
3. Expertise in rules governing security, software quality and ergonomics
4. High level of technical knowledge (languages, approaches, tools, use of GenAI tools to increase productivity etc.)
5. Ability to integrate business challenges into their scope
6. Significant experience in technical management or providing technical expertise on complex projects preferably in Java Spring Boot, Microservices, Angular, DevOps, CI/CD, Release Management
7. Familiarity with Azure / AWS Cloud
8. Agile Scrum Methodology
9. Capacity to have an influence beyond their entity (leads training, involved in pre-sales, contributes to communities, publications etc.)
10. Demonstrated experience managing several complex projects/operations
11. Prince 2 or PMP certified
12. Agile Scrum Certified
