Corporate & Criminal LawyerDepartment:
Legal & ComplianceLocation: As per Company RequirementReporting To: Director / Head – Legal AffairsJob SummaryHSBE Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a qualified and experienced Corporate & Criminal Lawyer to manage the company's legal affairs, ensure compliance with applicable laws, represent the organization in legal proceedings, and provide strategic legal advice on corporate, commercial, and criminal matters.
The role requires expertise in corporate law, contract management, litigation, regulatory compliance, and criminal case handling to safeguard the company's interests and minimize legal risks. Corporate lawyers typically advise businesses on contracts, compliance, governance, transactions, and dispute management.Key ResponsibilitiesCorporate Legal FunctionsDraft, review, negotiate, and vet contracts, agreements, MOUs, NDAs, vendor agreements, and commercial documents.Ensure compliance with corporate, labor, taxation, e-commerce, and regulatory laws.Provide legal opinions and advice to management on business decisions and operational matters
.Handle company registrations, licenses, certifications, and statutory filings.Support mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, investments, and business restructuring activities.Develop and implement corporate governance policies and legal compliance frameworks.Coordinate with external legal counsels, consultants, and regulatory authorities.Criminal Litigation & Dispute ManagementRepresent the company in criminal proceedings, complaints, investigations, and legal disputes.Draft legal notices, replies, petitions, complaints, affidavits, and court submissions.Coordinate with law enforcement agencies, advocates, and government authorities.Manage cases related to fraud, cybercrime, intellectual property infringement, employee misconduct, cheating, and other criminal matters affecting the company.Conduct legal research and prepare case strategies for litigation matters.Monitor ongoing cases and ensure timely filing of legal documents and responses.Compliance & Risk ManagementIdentify legal risks and recommend preventive measures.Monitor changes in laws and regulations affecting the company.Conduct internal legal audits and compliance reviews.Assist in dispute resolution, arbitration, mediation, and settlement negotiations.Maintain legal records, case files, contracts, and confidential documentation.Required QualificationsLL.B. / LL.M. from a recognized university.Enrollment with the Bar Council of India
.1–8 years of experience in corporate law and criminal litigation.Strong knowledge of the Companies Act, Contract Act, Labour Laws, IPC/BNS, CrPC/BNSS, Consumer Laws, IT Act, and Commercial Laws.Experience in handling court proceedings, legal drafting, and compliance management.Required SkillsExcellent legal drafting and documentation skills.Strong litigation and courtroom representation abilities.Contract negotiation and dispute resolution expertise.Legal research and analytical skills.Risk assessment and compliance management.Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professional ethics.
Working HoursMonday to Saturday: 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM
SalaryAs per industry standards and candidate experience.
