Furrever Cat Care is a boutique cat boarding facility built on genuine love for cats and real empathy for anxious pet parents. We run a detail-driven daily care operation and are looking for someone who can bring structure, ownership, and warmth to how we manage both our cats and our clients.

Job Description

We're hiring an Operations Manager to run the daily coordination between our care staff, our clients, and our founder. You'll oversee feeding and medication routines, supervise cleaning and handovers, manage client communication and updates, and make sure nothing that should happen actually gets missed. This is a hands-on coordination role, not a desk-only job — you'll be present on the floor daily, not just managing from a spreadsheet.

Key Responsibilities

• Run daily morning and evening handovers between caregiving, cleaning, and driver staff;
• Verify (not just collect) daily feeding, medicine, and litter tracker completion for every cat;
• Monitor for missed doses, feeding pattern changes, or health concerns and flag them promptly;
• Send daily photo/video updates to clients and respond to their queries on WhatsApp;
• Manage the booking calendar and coordinate pickup/drop schedules with the driver;
• Run belongings checklists at arrival and departure to prevent lost items;
• Track inventory of food, medicine, and supplies; flag reorders before stock runs low;
• Track payments, invoices, and maintain the client database;
• Follow up with clients after checkout for reviews and referrals;
• Prepare and brief a backup team member to cover your weekly day off;
• Escalate only genuine exceptions to the founder — health issues, upset clients, or anything that can't be resolved same-day.

Requirements

• Genuine comfort and warmth with cats — non-negotiable;
• Strong written communication in English/Hindi;
• Comfortable with WhatsApp, Excel/Google Sheets, and basic digital tools;
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to follow process without being micromanaged;
• Reliable — this role supports a 365-day operation;
• Comfortable holding staff accountable to daily routines and checklists.

Nice to Have

• Prior experience in operations, hospitality, client service, or animal care;
• Experience managing a small team or coordinating between departments.
