Job Description

Job Summary:

A Receptionist is the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and callers. They are responsible for managing the front desk, handling communications, providing administrative support, and ensuring a professional and welcoming environment.

  • Key ResponsibilitiesGreet and welcome visitors, clients, and guests.
  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls.
  • Manage the reception area and maintain a professional appearance.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, courier services, and deliveries.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars.
  • Maintain visitor logs and issue visitor passes when required.
  • Provide basic information about the organization and its services.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation.
  • Coordinate meeting room bookings and office arrangements.
  • Support other departments with clerical and administrative duties.
  • Required Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or bachelor's degree (preferred).
  • Previous experience in reception, customer service, or administration is an advantage.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and office equipment.
  • Professional appearance and courteous demeanor.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Basic record-keeping and data entry skills.
