Role Overview:We are looking for a skilled Frontend Engineer who is passionate about building intuitive, scalable, and high-performance web applications. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver best-in-class lending experiences.
Key Responsibilities:● Build and maintain responsive, user-friendly web applications for Paytm’s lending products● Translate product requirements and UI/UX designs into high-quality frontend code● Develop reusable components and frontend libraries for scalability and consistency● Optimize applications for maximum speed, performance, and cross-browser compatibility● Collaborate with backend teams to integrate APIs and ensure seamless data flow● Ensure code quality through best practices, reviews, and testing● Participate in feature planning, technical discussions, and architectural decisions
Required Skills & Qualifications● Strong experience in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3● Hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React.js (preferred)● Good understanding of state management, component-based architecture, and REST APIs● Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility● Familiarity with Git, version control, and agile development practices● Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
Good to Have● Experience working on fintech or lending products● Exposure to Next.js, performance optimization, and SEO best practices● Understanding of frontend security, authentication flows, and data protection● Experience with unit testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines
