Are you passionate to build the future of enterprise-grade security solutions? We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Cyber Security Products engineering team responsible for developing and maintaining integration agents. The team is part of the Cyber Security Products (CSP) business line of Thales's Cybersecurity & Digital Identity (CDI) Global Business Unit.
Our integration agents are critical components that enable seamless connectivity and secure communication across diverse enterprise environments. These agents are designed to provide robust authentication, synchronization, logging, and gateway capabilities, ensuring organizations maintain security and compliance across their infrastructure.
Job Responsibilities:
The Software Engineer in the Cyber Security Products team will be required to perform the following tasks:
Design, develop, and maintain integration agents that enable secure communication and data synchronization across enterprise systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Implement features and enhancements to improve agent performance, reliability, and security.
Conduct code reviews and participate in technical design discussions to ensure code quality and architectural consistency.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by customers and internal teams, providing timely support and solutions.
Participate in testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, and performance optimization.
Document technical specifications, design decisions, and implementation details for knowledge sharing and future reference.
Interface with geographically distributed teams across multiple time zones on a regular basis.
Skills and Experience:
At least 2 years of professional software development experience in building enterprise applications or integration solutions.
Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as .NET / Java
Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms, including LDAP, RADIUS, and related protocols.
Knowledge of system integration patterns and middleware technologies.
Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
Understanding of security best practices and secure coding principles.
Experience with API development and RESTful web services is a plus.
Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker is a plus.
Four-year degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field of study.
