Systems Integration Specialist Advisor
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated AWS Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS services and cloud architecture, with a proven track record of implementing and managing cloud-based solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure
- Develop and optimize cloud-native applications using AWS services
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Automate infrastructure deployment and management using tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK
- Monitor and optimize cloud resource utilization and costs
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in cloud environments
- Collaborate with development teams to implement CI/CD pipelines
- Stay current with the latest AWS services and best practices
- Mentor team members and contribute to knowledge sharing
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience working with AWS services
- Strong understanding of AWS core services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, etc.)
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform)
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go)
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of networking concepts and security best practices
- Experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies
- Experience with prompt engineering and applied AI (including agentic AI) to automate workflows and improve engineering efficiency in cloud environments.
- Understanding of monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., CloudWatch, Dynatrace)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Associate) preferred
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of server and database technologies
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
- Experience with serverless services and architecture
- Understanding of high availability and disaster recovery concepts
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization in cloud environments
