Gold Loan Branch Manager – Job Description
Position: Gold Loan Branch Manager
Location: Ozar, Nashik

Role Overview
The Branch Manager will be responsible for overall branch operations, business growth, gold loan portfolio management, team leadership, customer acquisition, compliance, and profitability of the branch.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Achieve monthly and annual gold loan disbursement targets.
Drive branch profitability and portfolio growth.
Develop relationships with jewellers, DSAs, and local business communities.
Conduct market visits and customer acquisition activities.
Generate repeat business and customer referrals.
Gold Loan Operations
Supervise gold appraisal and valuation processes.
Ensure accurate loan sanctioning and documentation.
Monitor loan disbursements, renewals, and closures.
Maintain quality of pledged gold and branch records.
Portfolio & Collections
Monitor overdue accounts and collection efficiency.
Ensure timely renewals and interest collections.
Control NPA and delinquency levels.
Follow up with customers for repayments and renewals.
Team Management
Lead and motivate branch staff.
Train employees on gold appraisal, customer service, and compliance.
Allocate targets and monitor performance.
Conduct daily review meetings.
Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure adherence to RBI, KYC, AML, and company policies.
Maintain audit readiness at all times.
Handle branch inspections and internal audits.
Ensure safety and security of pledged gold.
Customer Service
Deliver excellent customer experience.
Resolve customer grievances promptly.
Build long-term customer relationships.
Eligibility
Graduate in any discipline.
3–7 years experience in Gold Loan / NBFC / Banking.
Minimum 2 years experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
Strong knowledge of gold appraisal and lending operations.
Experience with institutions such as muthootfinance.com�, manappuram.com�, iifl.com�, hdbfs.com�, or similar organizations preferred.
