Job Description
A Gold Loan Officer is responsible for managing end-to-end gold loan operations, including customer handling, gold appraisal, loan processing, documentation, and disbursement. The role requires ensuring compliance with RBI guidelines, KYC/AML norms, and internal company policies while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
✔️ Gold valuation and purity checking
✔️ Customer onboarding and loan documentation
✔️ Loan disbursement, renewal, closure, and interest calculation
✔️ KYC verification and compliance management
✔️ Customer follow-up for repayment and overdue collections
✔️ Maintaining branch records, MIS, and daily reports
✔️ Supporting branch business targets and customer acquisition
Required Skills:
✔️ Knowledge of gold appraisal and loan operations
✔️ Basic computer and LMS/software handling
✔️ Communication skills in Marathi, Hindi, and English
✔️ Customer service and sales orientation
✔️ Attention to detail and operational accuracy
Qualification:
Graduate preferred with 1–3 years experience in Gold Loan / NBFC / Banking operations.
