Role Description :

The LC-MS Analyst will be responsible for performing routine and specialized analyses using liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry (LC-MS) systems in an on-site laboratory located in Panchkula. This full-time role includes preparing samples, setting up and calibrating instruments, running analytical methods, and interpreting data in accordance with established protocols and quality standards. The analyst will document results accurately, maintain detailed records, and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory guidelines. Daily responsibilities also involve instrument maintenance, troubleshooting basic technical issues, and collaborating with team members to support ongoing projects and process improvements. The role may also include contributing to method development, validation activities, and reporting findings to senior staff or clients.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of LC-MS principles, instrument operation, and basic troubleshooting.

Experience in analytical chemistry techniques such as sample preparation, chromatographic separation, and quantitative analysis.

Proficiency in data analysis, interpretation of spectra, and use of relevant software tools.

Understanding of laboratory quality systems, Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and documentation standards.

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.

Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple analyses and deadlines.

Effective written and verbal communication skills for reporting results and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Ability to work on-site in Panchkula, follow safety protocols, and contribute to a respectful, inclusive work environment.

Prior experience in a regulated or industrial laboratory (e.g., pharma, biotech, environmental, or food testing) is an advantage.
