Job Description
- Roles & ResponsibilitiesSource pharmaceutical products, medicines, PCD products, raw materials, and other required pharma items from reliable manufacturers and suppliers.
- Identify and develop new vendors/manufacturers as per company requirements.
- Collect and compare quotations from different suppliers to get the best price and commercial terms.
- Negotiate pricing, MOQ, credit terms, delivery timelines, discounts, and other commercial conditions with suppliers.
- Coordinate with the Sales Team to understand product requirements, customer requirements, and urgent purchase needs.
- Check product availability and arrange procurement as per customer orders and stock requirements.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) after receiving the required approvals.
- Follow up with suppliers regularly for order confirmation, dispatch, and delivery status.
- Coordinate with the Dispatch/Warehouse Team to ensure timely receipt of purchased products.
- Maintain proper records of vendors, purchase rates, quotations, purchase orders, pending orders, and supplier details.
- Coordinate with suppliers for required documents such as COA, GMP certificates, product specifications, invoices, and other relevant documents, wherever applicable.
- Check the expiry/shelf life, batch details, packing, and product specifications before finalizing purchases, as applicable.
- Coordinate with the QA/QC or concerned team regarding product quality or documentation issues.
