Job Description
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary excellence, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive both the operational and financial success of our establishment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Operational Management**
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth workflow and high service standards.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels for food, supplies, and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
2. **Team Leadership**
- Recruit, train, and supervise staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Schedule and manage shifts to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
- Provide ongoing coaching and development to enhance team performance.
3. **Customer Service Excellence**
- Maintain high standards of customer service, addressing customer concerns and feedback promptly.
- Develop strategies to enhance the overall customer experience.
- Work with the kitchen and bakery teams to curate seasonal menus and product offerings.
4. **Financial Management**
- Manage budgets, control costs, and analyze financial performance to meet revenue goals.
- Track sales, labour, and inventory metrics, and implement strategies for improvement.
- Oversee pricing strategies and promotional activities to drive sales.
5. **Marketing and Business Development**
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional campaigns and special events.
- Develop relationships with local businesses and community organizations to boost brand visibility.
- Stay informed of industry trends and competitors to keep the bakery and restaurant offerings competitive.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a restaurant manager, bakery manager, or similar role.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and compliance.
- Ability to analyze financial data and manage budgets.
- Passion for food, baking, and customer satisfaction.
