Job Description

KRA (Key Result Areas) – Sales & Marketing Executive / Manager

  • 1. Sales GrowthAchieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Increase revenue and profitability across assigned territories.
  • Generate new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
  • 2. Customer Acquisition & DevelopmentIdentify and onboard new distributors, dealers, wholesalers, and direct customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
  • Increase repeat business through regular customer engagement.
  • 3. Business DevelopmentIdentify new market segments and growth opportunities.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and monitor market trends.
  • Develop strategies for market expansion.
  • 4. Marketing ActivitiesPlan and execute marketing campaigns (online and offline).
  • Coordinate product launches, exhibitions, trade fairs, and promotional events.
  • Manage branding and promotional materials.
  • 5. Lead GenerationGenerate qualified leads through field visits, digital platforms, referrals, and exhibitions.
  • Ensure timely follow-up and conversion of leads into sales.
  • 6. Sales Forecasting & ReportingPrepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast.
  • Submit Daily Sales Reports (DSR), Monthly Sales Reports (MSR), and market feedback.
  • 7. Collections & Payment Follow-upEnsure timely collection of outstanding payments.
  • Maintain debtor days within company targets.
  • Coordinate with the accounts team to resolve payment issues.
  • 8. Product PromotionConduct product presentations and demonstrations.
  • Educate customers about product features and benefits.
  • Promote new products and increase product penetration.
  • 9. Customer ServiceResolve customer complaints and coordinate with internal teams.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and maintain long-term relationships.
  • 10. Team CoordinationCoordinate with production, dispatch, accounts, purchase, and customer support teams.
  • Ensure timely order processing and deliveries.
  • 11. Territory ManagementPlan customer visits effectively.
  • Increase market coverage.
  • Appoint and manage distributors where required.
  • 12. MIS & DocumentationMaintain CRM/customer database.
  • Update visit reports, quotations, enquiries, and order status.
  • Ensure proper documentation of sales activities.
