Job Description – Accountant Cum Office AssistantPosition: Accountant Cum Office Assistant
Location: kamothe navi mumbai
Department: Accounts & Administration
Reporting To: Accounts Manager / Director
Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant Cum Office Assistant to manage day-to-day accounting activities and provide administrative support for smooth office operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting knowledge, organizational skills, and proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications.
- Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts & FinanceMaintain books of accounts and ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions.
- Prepare and process sales invoices, purchase bills, debit notes, and credit notes.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Prepare payment vouchers, receipts, and journal entries.
- Maintain vendor and customer ledgers.
- Follow up with clients for outstanding payments and receivables.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Support GST, TDS, Professional Tax, and other statutory compliance activities.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and bankers as required.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
- Office AdministrationHandle day-to-day office administration and correspondence.
- Maintain office records, files, and documents systematically.
- Manage incoming and outgoing emails, letters, and courier services.
- Prepare quotations, purchase orders, work orders, and other business documents.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
- Maintain attendance records, leave records, and employee documentation.
- Assist management in preparing reports, presentations, and MIS statements.
- Support procurement and inventory record maintenance.
- Handle telephone calls and visitor management professionally.
- Documentation & ReportingMaintain digital and physical records of company documents.
- Generate periodic MIS reports and management reports.
- Ensure confidentiality of financial and company information.
- Perform other accounting and administrative tasks assigned by management.
- QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Additional certification in Tally, GST, or Accounting Software will be preferred.
- Experience2 to 5 years of experience in accounting and office administration.
- Experience in engineering, manufacturing, fabrication, construction, or industrial sectors will be an added advantage.
- Required SkillsProficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic accounting principles.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities.
- SalaryAs per qualification, experience, and company standards.
- Working HoursMonday to Saturday
