Role Description The Accountant and Office Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Patna. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, handling bookkeeping tasks, preparing basic financial reports, and supporting budget tracking. The role also involves managing day-to-day office operations, including handling correspondence, organizing files, scheduling meetings, and assisting with documentation and data entry. The individual will coordinate with team members to ensure smooth administrative processes and timely completion of tasks, while upholding confidentiality and compliance with internal policies.
Qualifications
- Strong accounting and bookkeeping abilities, including record keeping, invoice management, and basic financial reporting.
- Proficiency with office productivity tools (such as spreadsheets, word processing software, and email) and general administrative support skills.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and good organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work on-site in Patna, manage multiple tasks, and maintain confidentiality of financial and personal information.
- Prior experience in accounting or office administration is preferred; a diploma or degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field is an advantage.
- Familiarity with basic financial software or accounting tools and a willingness to learn new systems.
