Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and result-driven Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth through both inside sales (tele-calling, virtual consultations) and outside sales (field visits, client meetings, partnerships). The ideal candidate should be proactive, target-oriented, and passionate about sales in the education/ed-tech sector.
Key ResponsibilitiesInside Sales:
- Handle inbound and outbound leads through calls, WhatsApp, and emails
- Counsel prospective candidates on training programs and career opportunities
- Convert leads into enrollments by effectively pitching programs
- Maintain CRM and follow-up regularly with interested prospects
Field Sales:
- Visit colleges, institutes, and potential partners for business expansion
- Conduct seminars, presentations, and on-ground promotions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners and consultants
- Identify new business opportunities in assigned territories
General Responsibilities:
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Develop and execute sales strategies to increase conversions
- Coordinate with marketing and training teams for campaigns and onboarding
- Provide market feedback and competitor insights
- Required SkillsStrong communication and negotiation skills
- Good presentation and convincing ability
- Target-driven with a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Basic knowledge of CRM tools and MS Office
- QualificationsGraduate in any discipline (MBA preferred but not mandatory)
- Prior experience in sales, counseling, or business development is a plus
